Day 1

ARRIVAL IN SOUILLAC
Arrival in Souillac, tourist town nestled on the banks of the Dordogne river, with its abbey-church, its typical houses and small shops. Meeting with your local agent.

Day 2

SOUILLAC / TAMNIES (38 km)
You will discover an authentic countryside, away from the crowded sites. You will appreciate a break at Eyrignac garden before getting to the villages of Salignac with traditional houses built around a medieval castle, and Saint Géniès with its typical church.

Day 3

TAMNIES /LASCAUX/ LES EYZIES (40 km)
You will cycle throught Montignac where you will be able to visit Lascaux IV the reproduction of the famous prehistoric cave. Then, you will follow the Vézère Valley which will unveil a great number of treasures: caves, troglodyte shelters; and will lead you to Les Eyzies: capital of prehistory.

Day 4

LES EYZIES / SARLAT (45 km)
You will ride towards the Dordogne Valley, jewel of the Perigord, where fortified villages and castles are reflected majestically in the clear water of the Dordogne. You will discover Beynac and La Roque Gageac, classified among the most beautiful villages of France; and then leave the Dordogne valley to reach Sarlat: one of the most famous medieval town in France

Day 5

SARLAT / GOURDON (38 km)
After a stop in Domme: village classified among the most beautiful villages of France, you will pursue your route in the heart of a green and generous landscape to reach the medieval city of Gourdon.

Day 6

GOURDON / ROCAMADOUR (35 km)
Your will ride through forests and hills towards the Regional Park of “Quercy Causses” and the amazing village of Rocamadour where traditional houses and churches are superposed against the cliff.

Day 7

ROCAMADOUR / SOUILLAC (30 km)
After riding on typical roads of the Regional Park, bordered with dry stone walls, you will reach again the Dordogne Valley in Lacave where you will be able to visit the caves and admire an exceptional view of Belcastel castle. From there, you will follow the Dordogne river towards Souillac.
