France - Vezelay Route between Limoges and La Reole

The Vezelay Way continues to progress through Limousin and Perigord, from The Vienne River to the Dordogne, across the Regional Natural Park of Limousin, an area of chestnut trees. Then you will approach the White Perigord the area of mille chateaux (thousand of castles). When you enter the White Perigord, bories and lavoirs (washing houses) line the way, this land is inhabited since Prehistory. When you reach the Entre Deux Mers area the pinewoods replace the chesnut trees and the oceanic influence starts there.
